Don’t Judge A Person By Their Beliefs

Me and my wife disagrees on a lot of things, but she loves me a whole lot anyways (I don’t know why). I consider myself a very religious person, some people would not, they have a different opinion about what religion is, but we are still friends. I have friends who are atheist and others who are feminists. We do not agree, but we are friends. My point is, if your friends are only going to be those who agree with you, you will find yourself with fewer and fewer friends as time goes on.

When I was younger I believed that the King James Bible was the word of God and gays were sinful. Now I believe that the word of God isn’t written on paper and everybody is different. My beliefs have changed but I have not. I’m still the same person, just a little older.

What I’m saying is, we are not the sum of our beliefs. Beliefs are calculations of the mind and they can change. But we are more than just our mind. The mind is nothing more than a computer chip that operates the vessel that we now fill.

Don’t judge people by their beliefs, judge them by who they are, and if you don’t know who they are, then you have no business judging at all.

The Duggar Family

The Duggar Family – I haven’t read all the stories nor watched any videos and I’m not going to. This is what happens when you make your private life public. But just because this happens and what do you expect from reality tv. I think its bull shit.

If 19 and counting were all atheists and we found out about this, it would be hush hush, their getting counseling, its none of our business, etc, etc. But because they are religious, and very religious. Believing that homosexuality is a sin and a man is a man and a woman is a woman. We’re going to rip them a new one. We’re judging them because of what they believe not for what they do. Tell me I’m wrong. I’ve had things done to me when I was kid by other kids, because kids are naturally curious. I don’t need to talk about it, I don’t need counseling. Things happen, it’s not a perfect world, we go on. I want to know how many of you out there had a perfect life, trust me, you’re a rare person.

18 and counting are really suffering because of one person and that’s just wrong, and it’s the public that’s making that happen.
Everyone get off your high horses and stop being so judgmental. There are far worse problems in this world. Much much worse problems we can all be talking about.

All I got to say is, there is nothing to see here, go on. But if you can’t, it’s because we just kick em when their up, kick em when their down.
